OUR STORY......In 2015, we bought 607 Windsong then named it "Superior's Edge"! We wanted to try our hand at doing a vacation home that would become a "beyond your ordinary" vacation home rental - to an upscale vacation home experience!
In 2016, "Camp Coco" 606 Windsong Cottage, our neighbor John and Laurie asked if I would consult for their property as well. I became the hostess/secretary/customer service for his property as well. Their home is stunning and was an easy fit of our original dream.
TODAY 2022 - on our 8th year of business we have evolved into two North Shore Dream Retreats! We pride ourselves in "Going Beyond the Ordinary" for a vacation rental. Come and experience the difference of an "Upscale Vacation Home Experience!"
BOUTIQUE ...Both of these homes we rent out are "boutique" homes. Boutique properties have a distinct character by intentional design and decor and comfort; kitchens that are organized and provide the equipment you need for cooking/dining; has a homey comfort; top cleaning and maintenance management; and provide excellent customer service to our guests.

WINDSONG COTTAGE COMMUNITY.... We are in the desired town home community of Windsong Cottages enveloped down in a beautiful valley off of Highway 61 at the edge of the charming town of Beaver Bay, MN. They are part of a 3 unit town home that are perched on a 17 foot, rocky ridge, 50 feet from the waters edge and pebbled with beautiful shrubs and trees beneath the deck! That boasts one of the best commanding views of Lake Superior; the largest fresh water lake in the world! Come and unwind as you soak in the soothing sounds of the waves crashing into the rocks right in front of our homes.

Our vacation home is centrally located just off Minnesota scenic North Shore drive Highway 61 and surrounded by some of the premier vacation state park destinations in Minnesota. The closest park being Split Rock Lighthouse which is one of the most visited and photographed lighthouses in the nation! It is hard to beat our location for travelers who want to be centrally located and capture “all” the shore has to offer.
We think you will agree, due to the nature of the shores length, if you are too far northeast or southwest you get trapped into only seeing part of the shore when you visit, but our location meets the needs of the travelers who want to see it all. Or, remain in this beautiful section of the shore and enjoy the many premier Minnesota favorite destinations near us. To highlight a few of the locations:
