BOB & BARB'S STORY......In 2014, we bought 607 Windsong and named it "Superior's Edge"! We offered a vacation home that goes "beyond your ordinary" vacation home rental - to an upscale vacation home experience!
SEPT 2025 SOLD it to NEW OWNERS DENISE & SCOTT RAMSDALE - who plan to keep the dream retreat going. Now "SUPERIOR'S JOY" and will continue to share their vacation home with others! You will have a seamless stay as Barb Daugs is still the hostess for "Superior's Joy". You will continue to find it listed on this website. New photos of Superior's Joy coming in 2026.
"Camp Coco" at 606 Windsong, our neighbors John and Laurie, now are self-managing theirs. Barb formerly was the hostess for them, and I am happy to still be of help if you need it.

Our vacation home is centrally located just off Minnesota scenic North Shore drive Highway 61 and surrounded by some of the premier vacation state park destinations in Minnesota. The closest park being Split Rock Lighthouse which is one of the most visited and photographed lighthouses in the nation! It is hard to beat our location for travelers who want to be centrally located and capture “all” the shore has to offer.
We think you will agree, due to the nature of the shores length, if you are too far northeast or southwest you get trapped into only seeing part of the shore when you visit, but our location meets the needs of the travelers who want to see it all. Or, remain in this beautiful section of the shore and enjoy the many premier Minnesota favorite destinations near us. To highlight a few of the locations:

The Legacy (Springfield)
Raymond Floyd secured his 17th win on the PGA Tour in Memphis in 1982. He returned to the Volunteer State 14 years later to design The Legacy, a championship golf course that trundles over rolling hills and meanders throughout mature woodlands. The course opened the same year Tiger Woods debuted on the PGA Tour, and it’ll take a Tiger-like round if you’re looking to set a new course record there—those low rounds currently sit at 65, 60, and 63 (played from the club, tournament, and championship tees, respectively). A bevy of hazards deliver plenty of challenge, especially since the course is modest in length—it plays less than 6,800 yards from the tips. If you make it through the front nine mostly unscathed, you’ll be rewarded by a slightly easier inward stretch of holes, albeit one that still introduces plenty of hazards and requires golfers to hit several blind shots.
